I thought it would be nice if you knew some information about jake's and myself. In today's competitive market of big chain stores, and the SELL-SELL-SELL attitude, it becomes almost painful to have to deal with any salesperson. You may find it surprising to know that I strongly dislike salespeople and I have been one most of my working career.
What makes me different than any other salesperson? That's a very good question. The answer is really not that complicated. I treat all of my customers exactly like I want to be treated, and I have high expectations when I buy anything.. I sell from my heart, NOT my pocketbook. Personally, I feel that beyond anything, YOUR satisfaction is MY number one priority. Lots of people can sell. Most are good at it. But, it's rare you find someone who cares just as much about you after the sale. I pride myself on that, more than anything.. It has become so bad, that most salespeople don't even talk about your satisfaction. It's SELL-SELL-SELL! That's a shame.
Another priority with me is that you have fun when you are at jake's. When is the last time you had a 'good time' buying anything? I know, for a fact, that you will find my style a little different. The way I look at it, , you are only here for a short while and you should enjoy the time you have. On the other side of the coin, I am VERY serious about what I do. I have been in the industry for over thirty years, and I am very knowledgeable about what I sell.
As far as pricing goes, this is an unbelievably competitive industry. You can go to a lot of stores on or off the island, and you will find pricing to be very close in all of them. I belong to a buying group with the purchasing power of almost 500 stores and my pricing will be very fair. No one sells for too much, or they wouldn't do any business, or too little or they wouldn't be in business. Also, remember that the 'best price' is not always the 'best deal'. There are a lot of things to consider when you make a buying decision.
As far as shopping locally goes, I consider it to be important, but I don't push it. I feel it's unfair to ask you to buy from me just because I live here. Don't be fooled by " DON'T PAY FOR ONE YEAR", "WE PAY THE GST", "FREE DELIVERY", "HALF PRICE", etc... Ask me how these things work so you know all the facts. You should purchase with someone you are the most comfortable with. I ask that you put your faith in me. You won't regret it. I won't let you.
